Job Title: Assistant Manager Planning - for our sales and planning department

Job Description: Outfitters is hiring for "Assistant Manager Planning" for our sales and planning department. They key responsibilities are;

• Prepare department level budgets for inventory, sales, and purchase and prepare sales, retention, and allocation plans for season
• Make demand forecasts as per plan, budget, and conditions to improve profitability and turnover. Responsible for optimized product positioning
• Ensure the weekly Margins & Closing Inventories are on track against Retail Merchandising Financial Plan (MFP) by recommending specific corrective measures for in-season adjustments where Margins, Closing Inventory or Sales are off target.
• Optimize inventories and liquidation by projecting seasonal sales and purchase forecasts.
• Develop and maintain Seasonal assortment plans and strategies. This may involve coordinating design team and manufacturing team for finalizing strategies.
• Also responsible for category reporting and analysis by generating adhoc as well as weekly/monthly reports and reviews, in order to take steps in the improvement of business.
